David Singleton
Founder, Oraculi
David has led and developed organisations across 40 countries, working with some of the world's most recognised brands. Today he works as a strategic advisor to brands, organisations, and ambitious senior executives in growth mode, and as an accredited leadership coach to C-suite leaders and their teams.
His career began in the UK, leading F&B brands nationally and in the US before completing his Masters at Coventry University, where he later joined the Advisory Board. From there his path took him international: to Moscow, as part of a board-level turnaround team for Russia and the CIS's largest restaurant group, then as a consultant designer for Mercedes-Benz on their first restaurant concept, built to launch the A-Class into the Russian market.
He moved to the UAE to join Al Tayer's Retail Board as Vice President of Hospitality, reporting to the CEO and a Board chaired by Obaid Al Tayer. His last corporate role was Vice President at Hard Rock Café across 40 countries in EMEA and South Asia, working across a wide mix of franchisees, family offices, and investors.
David founded Oraculi in 2020 — a thought leadership and strategic advisory practice he now leads as founder, advisor, non-executive director, and transformational growth coach. A key part of his work is guiding leaders and brands through market entry, cultural change, and boardroom dynamics — often evolving alongside his clients as they move from coachee to Board member, and his role shifts from coach to mentor and advisor.
His advisory work spans hospitality and F&B, where he's widely regarded as a subject matter expert, particularly in franchising, alongside AI technology, brand development, large-scale events, consumer brands, and a significant non-executive role in private equity.
In 2025, David delivered his TEDx talk, “You can think big and have balance — why the most successful people refuse to choose between success and balance.”
He is currently authoring his first book, BEYōND Boundaries — on forming authentic, purpose-driven goals.
David has two daughters, both based in Dubai: Katie, a former teacher now with Cigna, and Hollie, a Marketing and PR Manager.
